Well its almost election time here in the United States of America. Some of us right now are watching the debates and sizing up the candidates of one that will eventually be President of these United States of America. Some are saying" I am Republican" while others are saying " I am loyal Democrat." Well if this is where your knowledge of our government starts and begins, well then you are lost before you ca even begin! That is right, there is a bigger picture behind the scenes of it all. There are groups of people that control the bigger picture. No its not conspiracy theory, these are groups of people with power that control the song and dance puppet show we are seeing called the November elections! The exist in groups such as the Trilateral Commission and The Bilderburg Group. These are real and prevalent groups that exist until this day. If you are reading this then I would suggest you research this yourself. I will dive a little more into this in future blogs. As for now I am just helping some people open their eyes to what is going on. There is so much political rhetoric that some are re

This week will be a life changing week for these United States of America. First, we have the Arizona Immigration Law being reviewed by the Supreme Court and The New Healthcare Law under fire. As we already know the Supreme Court only struck down a few parts of the law. Now we are waiting in the looms for Thursday when they will rule on the Healthcare Law. Like many I will be waiting on the outcome of this!!! Any thoughts?
Most people would say " I don't need to go to college" or " am not cut out for college." These are an can be true but going to college isn't the only education you can get. There are several alternatives to the traditional education.I encourage anyone who wants to advance themselves to look into trade schools, real estate schools, community colleges, or technical schools. Many of these routes offer programs such as plumbing, carpentry, barbering, cosmetology, computer repair, auto technician, and so many more! Check out these schools and begin the process of achieving now!!! www.lawsonstate.edu www.jeffstateonline.com www.uti.edu Intelligence is a concept that has seem to be long forgotten in this day and age. It seems the mentality of today say its cool to be stupid or live a "dumb it down" lifestyle. Well, I refuse to let that stereotype be true. Intelligence will take you a long way. Conversations and dialogue can come in all forms and manner. The issue is that we find ways to let ignorance run-a-muck in our society. I want to encourage people to pick up the editorial page in the newspaper sometimes or the business section. You will gain insight into what is going on around you. Pick up books about financial management, homes, or technology. You will began to change the world around you when you engage in things that can impact your future!!!
Today I had a very interesting dialogue. It pertains to leadership and education being a necessary part of the journey. A leader first has to have a vision of where and what area he or she needs to lead. A very important aspect that many neglect is that a true leader needs to become the difference that needs to be seen. A leader can't lead in area where they are still weak. Example: a former drug addict who has conquered that area does not need to go back to being a drug addict to help others beat the habit. That person needs to be the tangible point of change that someone can see. At that point the former drug addict has credibility with those who want to become whole. A leader has to be relative to their crowd. I know its a tragic example but its a real life situation that happens everyday. What I want to know is :1. How do we continue to groom leaders in this day and time? 2. How do we reach to the heart of the people and separate them from the habits that hold them back? 3. How do we do these things without belittling the
So much has happened over the past few days! October has really been interesting already. I just want to touch on the lost of a few icons in our lifetime. Rev. Fred L.Shuttlesworth, Steve Jobs, and Derrick Bell passed on yesterday October 5,2011.
Rev. Fred L.Shuttlesworth was one of the pioneers of the Civil Rights Movement. His home and Church were bombed. Despite that he rose to the challenge of fighting for civil rights over and over again. His efforts, as well as, many others paved the way for all people (regardless of race, creed, or color) to live in a civilized society. Steve Jobs, the genius that gave us the iPhone, iPad, and the first computer mouse, was a pioneer in the area of technology. Apple put out some of the most groundbreaking computer technology in our lifetime. Steve Jobs was always an innovator. All of his inventions have revolutionized the way we use computers, talk on the phone, and even listen to music. Derrick Bell was the first African American Professor of Law at Harvard University.Bell fought many obstacles to reach such a milestone in achievement. He played a major role in the creation of Critical Race Theory( the originator). Derrick A Bell Jr. was an icon that we didn't hear too much about, but his accomplishments have contributed to this country greatly! Educating our minds about pioneers that have paved the way in so many areas is something that we should incorporate into our everyday walk!!! |
